Spectrum Sliding Analysis
نویسنده
چکیده
The Spectrum Sliding Analysis (SSA) is a dynamic spectrum analysis in which the next analysis interval differs from the previous one by including the next signal sample and excluding the first one from the previous analysis interval. Such a spectrum analysis is necessary for time-frequency localization of analyzed signals with given peculiarities. Using the well-known Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) towards this aim is not effective. Recursive algorithms which use only one complex multiplication for computing one spectrum sample during each analysis interval are more effective. The author improved one algorithm so that it is possible to use only one complex multiplication for computing two, four, and even eight (for complex signals) spectrum samples simultaneously. Problems of realization and application of the spectrum sliding analysis are also considered in the chapter. keywords: spectrum sliding analysis, dynamic spectrum analysis, recursive algorithms, sliding spectrum algorithms & analyzers, instant spectrum algorithms & analyzers, algorithms for instantaneous spectrum digital analyzers, multichannel filter

متن کاملThe Sliding DFT
The standard method for spectrum analysis in digital signal processing (DSP) is the discrete Fourier transform (DFT), typically implemented using a fast Fourier transform (FFT) algorithm. However, there are applications that require spectrum analysis only over a subset of the N center frequencies of an N-point DFT. A popular, as well as efficient, technique for computing sparse DFT results is t...
متن کاملOn the sliding-window representation in digital signal processing
The short-time Fourier transform of a discrete-time signal, which is the Fourier transform of a “windowed” version of the signal, is interpreted as a sliding-window spectrum. This sliding-window spectrum is a function of two variables: a discrete time index, which represents the position of the window, and a continuous frequency variable. It is shown that the signal can be reconstructed from th...
متن کاملChaotic dynamic analysis and nonlinear control of blood glucose regulation system in type 1 diabetic patients
In this paper, chaotic dynamic and nonlinear control in a glucose-insulin system in types I diabetic patients and a healthy person have been investigated. Chaotic analysis methods of the blood glucose system include Lyapunov exponent and power spectral density based on the time series derived from the clinical data. Wolf's algorithm is used to calculate the Lyapunov exponent, which positive val...
متن کاملFocusing Bistatic SAR Data in Double Sliding Spotlight Mode with TerraSAR-X and PAMIR Based on Azimuth Chirp Filtering
This paper concentrates on the Doppler spectrum characteristics of hybrid bistatic SAR experiments, i.e., TerraSAR-X/PAMIR where TerraSAR-X was steered as the illuminator in the sliding spotlight mode, and PAMIR, mounted on a Transall C-160, operated in the inverse sliding spotlight mode. The bistatic Double Sliding Spotlight (DSS) experiment has been successfully performed in March 2009. For t...
